The 'Correct' Sign of the Zodiac for Each of the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ is NOT subject to Debate

Judging from the overwhelming consensus that is to be found at some of the more reputable sites on the internet who deal with issues of astrology and the 12 Signs of the Zodiac, it appears that the 'correct' correlation between the 12 Apostles and the Zodiac has been a settled issue for quite some time.

Yes, there are indeed some creative lunatics out there with their own outlandish new lists of Apostles to the Zodiac, but they are nearly always dead wrong and they know it deep down anyway. So, without any further introduction, here are the most likely, most logical, and most agreed upon Signs of the Zodiac as it relates to the 12 most important Saints of the Christian Church throughout the world, namely the 12 Apostles of Christ, all of them hand-picked by Rabbi Jesus Himself nearly 2,000 years ago:

The Sign of Aries is Saint Peter, the Sign of Taurus is Saint Simon, the Sign of Gemini is Saint James, the Sign of Cancer is Saint Andrew, the Sign of Leo is Saint John, the Sign of Virgo is Saint Philip, the Sign of Libra is Saint Bartholomew, the Sign of Scorpio is Saint Thomas, the Sign of Sagittarius is Saint James the Great, the Sign of Capricorn is Saint Matthew, the Sign of Aquarius is Saint Jude Thaddaeus, and the Sign of Pisces is Saint Matthias who replaced Judas Iscariot.

As Above, so Below in the Sheol

A List of Biblical References for 'As Above, so Below' and the Sheol

The LORD kills and makes alive. He brings Down to Sheol and raises Up.

- 1 Samuel 2:6

When a cloud vanishes it is gone, so he who goes Down to Sheol does not come Up.

- Job 7:9

They are High as the Heavens, what can you do? Deeper than the Sheol, what can you know?

- Job 11:8

O LORD, You have brought Up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, so that I would not go Down to the Pit.

- Psalm 30:3

If I ascend to Heaven, You are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.

- Psalm 139:8

The path of life leads Upward for the wise so that he may keep away from the Sheol Below.

Though they dig Deep into Sheol, from there will My hand take them. And though they Ascend into Heaven, from there will I bring them Down.

Never Forget that the LORD God Rules the Sheol Below as well as the Heavens Above

All the well-watered trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, were comforted in the Earth beneath.

- Ezekiel 31:16

A certain Christian theologian (Andrew) has argued recently on his website called P.OST, an Evangelical Theology, that the Bible indicates: 'There is no relationship with God in Sheol.' Reading this from a somewhat prominent, published Protestant Christian author seemed a bit too much to swallow, so here is a suitable response to such a claim-

ANDREW:  There is no relationship with God in Sheol.
JUDEO/CHRISTIAN TRADITION: Yes, there is a 'relationship with God in Sheol' and the Bible describes the presence of God in the Sheol, repeatedly and vividly. The following Scriptural passages are just a brief sampling of this reality:

THE LORD IS EVERYWHERE, INCLUDING THE SHEOL: Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. (Psalm 139:7-8)

THE LORD SEES AND OBSERVES THE SOULS OF THE DEAD IN THE SHEOL: The departed spirits tremble under the waters and their inhabitants. Naked is Sheol before Him, and Abaddon has no covering. (Job 26:5-6)

THE HAND OF THE LORD CAN AND WILL REACH DOWN INTO THE SHEOL:
Though they dig into Sheol, from there will My hand take them; And though they ascend to heaven, From there will I bring them down. (Amos 9:2)

THE LORD EASILY RULES OVER THE SHEOL FROM HEAVEN: Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the LORD, How much more the hearts of men! (Proverbs 15:11)

THE LORD PUNISHES SOME AND COMFORTS OTHERS THAT HE HAS SENT DOWN INTO THE SHEOL: I made the nations quake at the sound of its fall when I made it go down to Sheol with those who go down to the pit; and all the well-watered trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, were comforted in the earth beneath. (Ezekiel 31:15-16)

THE LORD WILL LISTEN TO THOSE WHO CRY OUT FOR HIM FROM THE SHEOL: I called out of my distress to the LORD, And He answered me. I cried for help from the depth of Sheol; You heard my voice. (Jonah 2:2)

THE LORD CAN REDEEM THE DEAD FROM THE SHEOL AND MAKE THEM ALIVE AGAIN IN HEAVEN: Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from death? O Death, where are your thorns? O Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion will be hidden from My sight. (Hosea 13:14)

THE LORD EVENTUALLY REDEEMS THE RIGHTEOUS FROM THE SHEOL: O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me. O Lord, You have brought up my soul from Sheol. (Psalm 30:2-3)

AVOIDING SIN IN LIFE LEADS TO FASTER REDEMPTION FROM THE SHEOL AFTER DEATH: You shall strike him with the rod and rescue his soul from Sheol. (Proverbs 23:14)

As it is written in the Bible, the LORD God is an active and constant presence in the Sheol among the souls of the dead who are treated differently depending upon their sins when they were still alive. The LORD God rules the Sheol with justice and mercy as He has always done since the beginning of time.

The Seven Sages of Judaism

The Seven Greatest Rabbis of Judaism who Ever Lived (100 BC - 1760 AD)
Rabbi Hillel, Rabbi Shammai, Rabbi Judah Ha-Nasi, Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, Rabbi Moses ben Nachman, Rabbi Moses ben Maimon, and Rabbi Israel ben Eliezer

Both the Babylonian and the Jerusalem Talmud repeatedly mention what they call the 'Sages and Prophets'. Well, the Prophets all have separate Books in the Tanakh named after them so their list of names can be found by simply looking up the Books of the Old Testament in any Bible's Table of Contents. However, the question remains as to who exactly were the 'Sages' of the Talmud's duo of 'Sages and Prophets'? Here is the answer which most readers would probably agree with, give or take a 'Sage' or two. The Seven Sages of Judaism are listed in chronological order:

The Seven Sages of Judaism
1) Hillel (100 BC - 10 AD)
2) Shammai (50 BC - 30 AD)
3) Rab Judah (135-219 AD)
4) Rashi (1040-1105)
5) Ramban (1194-1270)
6) Rambam (1135-1204 AD)
7) Baal Shem Tov (1700 - 1760 AD)

Seven Important Facts about the Seven Sages
Hillel (Rabbi Hillel) had followers called Hillelites of the School of Hillel.
Shammai (Rabbi Shammai) had followers called Shammaites of the School of Shammai.
Rab Judah (Rabbi Judah Ha-Nasi) is often known as the Prince, or Judah the Prince.
Rashi (Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki) wrote an entire verse by verse analysis of the Tanakh.
Ramban (Rabbi Moshe ben Nachman) is also known as Nachmanides.
Rambam (Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon) is also known as Maimonides.
Baal Shem Tov (Rabbi Israel ben Eliezer) is also known as the Bescht.

Names of the 12 Tribes of Israel Engraved in Jewels on the High Priest of the Temple

You shall make a Breastpiece of Judgment, the work of a skillful workman...You shall mount on it four rows of stones...The stones shall be according to the names of the sons of Israel: twelve, according to their names; they shall be like the engravings of a seal, each according to his name for the twelve tribes.

- Exodus 28:15-21

The priestly breastplate (Hebrew hoshen חֹשֶׁן) was a sacred breastplate worn by the High Priest for the Israelites, according to the Book of Exodus...The biblical description states that the breastplate was also to be made from the same material as the Ephod - embroidered linen - and was to be a square, a cubit in width, two layers thick, and with four rows of three engraved gems each embedded upon it, each jewel being framed in gold. The description states that the square breastplate was to be formed from two equal rectangular pieces of cloth - suggesting that its appearance was similar to a backless waistcoat.

- Priestly Breastplate, Wikipedia

One of the most important parts to the High Priest of the Temple of Jerusalem's ceremonial garments was what was called the 'Breastpiece of Judgment' which was a piece of perfectly square cloth with 12 different jewels attached to it into 4 rows of 3 jewels each. Upon each jewel was carefully inscribed the names of each of the 12 tribes of Israel in Hebrew letters. According to Judaism, this is what the engraved names actually looked like (not necessarily in this order):

References to the Triangular Symbolism of the Four Elements

Fire: Triangle points up
Water: Triangle points down
Air: Triangle points up with a horizontal line through center of triangle
Earth: Triangle points down with a horizontal line through center of triangle

- Colors and Symbols of Four Elements, Feng-shui.lovetoknow.com

Each element is either warm or cold, and this corresponds with a male or female gender...The orientation of the triangle is determined by warmth or coldness, male or female. Male, warm elements point upward, ascending toward the spiritual realm. Female, cold elements point downward, descending into the earth.

- Four Elements and their Qualities, by Catherine Beyer, About.com

Each element has a symbol and color. Common symbols are Fire: a triangle pointing up.  Air: a triangle pointing up and with a horizontal line through the middle of it. Water: a triangle pointing down. Earth: a triangle pointing down and with a horizontal line through the middle of it.

- The Four Elements, Angelfire.com

The four classic elements are still essential symbols of the cultures and belief systems of many groups, including Native Americans, pagans and various tribal groups throughout the world...During the Greek Hellenic civilization (323-146 B.C.), the symbols used to represent the four elements of Greek physics were based on the triangle:

Fire: Triangle points up
Water: Triangle points down
Air: Triangle points up with a horizontal line through center of triangle
Earth: Triangle points down with a horizontal line through center of triangle

- Colors and Symbols of Four Elements, Feng-shui.lovetoknow.com

Opposing elements are on opposite sides...and are distinguished by the presence or absence of the crossbar within the triangle...Air and earth are opposites and have the crossbar. Water and fire are also opposites, and lack the crossbar.

- Elemental Qualities, by Catherine Breyer, About.com

Fire: a triangle pointing up.
Air: a triangle pointing up and with a horizontal line through the middle of it.
Water: a triangle pointing down.
Earth: a triangle pointing down and with a horizontal line through the middle of it.

Those who Oppose the Judeo/Christian Tradition Call it a 'Myth'

> Anti-Judeo/Christians who Call the Judeo/Christian Tradition a 'MYTH' <
_______________________

The MYTH of the Judeo-Christian tradition insidiously obscures the real and significant differences between Judaism and Christianity.

- Professor Stephen M. Feldman

Theologically and historically, there is no such thing as the Judeo-Christian tradition. It's a secular MYTH favoured by people who are not really believers themselves.

- Jewsish Scolar Jacob Neusner

For scholars of American religion...the idea of a single Judeo-Christian tradition is a made-in-America MYTH that many of them no longer regard as valid.
