Jesus Christ Really, Really Did Descend into Hell

He descended into Hell....

- Nicene Creed (451 A.D.)

+ Jesus Christ Really, Really Did Descend into Hell +
________________________________________

There came a man, whose appearance was that of a thief, carrying a cross upon his shoulder, shouting from the outside of the door of Hell, saying: 'Open up so that I may come in.' And Satan, opening up to him a little, brought the man inside into his dwelling, and again shut the door behind him. And all the Saints saw him most clearly and said to him: 'Your appearance is that of a robber. Tell us what it is that you carry on your back.' The answered with humility: 'Truly I was a thief in all ways; but the Jews hung me up on a cross, along with my Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father most high. I have now come proclaiming Him. He indeed is coming right behind me.'

- Gospel of Nicodemus

Near the end of every Sunday Mass, Roman Catholics join together to recite the exact words of what's been called either the Nicene Creed, or the extremely similar Apostles' Creed. They have been during this for nearly 1,700 years. Many other Christian sects do the same. One of the more frightening verses concerning Jesus in this age-old Creed states quite bluntly: 'He descended into Hell.' Over the centuries, many believers have probably wondered what exactly does this really mean. Did Jesus Christ really descend into Hell? What happened when He was down there? How did He manage to escape? Why did He even need to go to such a terrible place?

The answers to all these questions can be found in the oft-neglected Christian doctrine known as the Harrowing of Hell. As the basic story-line goes, the LORD Jesus Christ died on the Cross only to find Himself leading an entire army of Angels down the treacherous slopes of Hell. After travelling further and further down into the darkness of this wicked kingdom, both He and his Angelic forces finally came to the heavily-guarded fortress where the self-appointed ruler of the dead, a Pagan god called Hades, resided. While Jesus laid seige to this foul fortress, the ancient serpent known as Satan, the Devil found himself trying to reassure the Pagan ruler of this dark kingdom that there was nothing to fear.

Shortly after their initial assault, the Divine expedition led by Christ finally manages to tear down and smash the Gates of Hell into a thousand pieces. The LORD Jesus then charges through the wreckage in order to capture and subdue two of the most evil beings ever known, namely the Pagan god of the dead Hades and his diabolical side-kick Satan. Here are the essential details of this epic battle which immediately followed the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross:

+ The Shattering of the Gates of Hell: And, behold, suddenly Hades trembled, and the gates of Heall and its bolts were shattered. The iron bars were broken and fell to the ground, and everything was laid open. And Satan remained in the midst, and stood confounded and downcast, bound with fetters on his feet. (Gospel of Nicodemus 8)

+ The Defeat of Satan: The Lord Jesus Christ...carrying a chain in His hand, bound Satan by the neck, tying his hands behind him. He then cast Satan into Hell, and placed His holy foot on his throat, saying: 'Through all ages you have done many evils; you have not rested. Today I condemn you to everlasting fire.' (Gospel of Nicodemus 8)

+ The Damnation of Hades: The Hades was suddenly summoned and Jesus commanded him saying: 'Take this most wicked and impious one, and keep him even unto that day in which I shall command you.' And so Hades, as soon as he received Satan, was plunged under the feet of the Lord...into the depth of the abyss. (Gospel of Nicodemus 8)

+ The Conquest of the Underworld: Then the Saviour, inquiring thoroughly about all, seized the underground kingdom of Hades, immediately threw some down into Hell, and led some with Him to Heaven...And the Lord set His cross in the midst of Hades, which is the sign of victory, and which will remain unto eternity. (Gospel of Nicodemus 9-10)

+ The Ascent into Heaven: Then we all went forth to Heaven along with the Lord, leaving Satan and Hades in Hell. (Gospel of Nicodemus 10)

After eventually coming face to face with Hell's somewhat surprised and frightened ruler godKing Hades, Jesus Christ presses on to attack His traditional age-old foe the Devil named Satan. When they finally meet, Jesus quickly binds the adversary with a chain He had benn carrying with Him, then tosses His ancient enemy down onto the ground on his back. Having been subdued beneath the mighty feet of Christ, Satan ends up being cast even further down into the burning depths of Tartarus. This particular abode also happens to be the lowest level of Hell set aside for its most dangerous inhabitants- a fitting end for Satan. After having thoroughly defeating Satan, Jesus summons King Hades to appear before Him once again. He then orders this so-called Greco-Roman deity to take charge over his evil companion Satan as they are both officially banished into eternal exile- on a journey down into a bottomless pit of eternal damnation.

Finally, Jesus Christ proceeds to cast judgment upon all the countless number of Hell's deceased inhabitants, condemning some and redeeming many others until a perfect and eternal justice has been achieved. Whether this took a day, or a thousand years, is a question mere mortals have yet to answer. Making sure to gather together all of His fellow Saints and Angels, the only Son of God finally decides to leave a Sign of the Cross behind as both a monument to His Divine love and mercy, and as a warning to any stray forces of darkness, still haunting the depths of the Underworld. Jesus Christ then leaves this dark, foreboding world of the dead and ascends upwards into Heaven where He has been destined to rule for all eternity.

Herein lies the story of what really happened to Jesus the very moment after giving up the ghost during His crucifixion at Golgotha, just outside of Jerusalem. Indeed, it must be stated loudly and clearly that Jesus Christ really did die and really did descend into Hell nearly 2,000 years ago, thus achieving the eternal salvation of all mankind, One can sympathize with the fact this ancient Christian tale may leave some readers wishing, hoping, waiting for more or expecting it to contain additional drama and excitement. Suffice it to say that, even though the story of Christ's descent into Hell may seem too simple, like a child's fairy tale or nursery rhyme, for God-fearing Christians it remains the truest story ever told.

Jesus Christ Condemns Masturbation

‘Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, ‘and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?’

- Jeremiah 23:29

This may seem controversial to some, but the proofs that Jesus Christ condemns masturbation in the Gospels is fairly obvious and straight-forward. What probably seems confusing to some is how the innocent Jesus Christ even knew about masturbation.Remember, He was thirty-something carpenter who probably knew about at least some of these things from contact with His fellow workers.

How did Jesus know about throwing pearls, namely ejaculating into the open air? Well, the answer, in short, is that He had older brothers and a strict Jewish mother who taught Him to never masturbate. He probably also witnessed one or more acts of ritual prostitution where one male would have sex with a prostitute while the other males would masturbate, throwing their pearls of white semen all around when ejaculation was achieved. Without further delay, here is the exact understanding:

THE BASIC CLAIM:

Jesus Christ condemns both masturbation and prostitution using allusion and metaphor

THE BASIC METAPHOR:

THE GOSPEL PASSAGE: Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet and turn and tear you to pieces. (Matthew 7:6)

THE INTERPRETATION: Do not have sex with prostitutes and ejaculate into them. Do not masturbate and ejaculate your sperm into the open air. Remain completely chaste or the demonic world will blow you away.

THE BASIC REASONING:

I. GOSPEL VERSE #1: Do not give what is holy to dogs = Do not have sex with prostitutes and ejaculate in their mouths and rectums. It is demonic.

II. GOSPEL VERSE #2: Do not throw pearls before swine = Do not masturbate and ejaculate to XXX (666) pornography. It is demonic.

Now, what follows is a piece-by-piece examination of the exact words of the Gospels, using historical and traditional interpretations and Biblical analysis. As it clearly reveals, Jesus Christ may well have been using multiple meanings in His sayings and parables, but at least one of them is obviously the earthy, but common sense, notion that one should never masturbate, a uniquely Jewish doctrine not shared by the Pagans, who masturbated frequently and openly. Here is the full analysis of the the two Gospel verses:

I. GOSPEL VERSE #1: Do not give what is holy to dogs

EXACT WORDS: What is holy

TRANSLATION: Your male virgin (or non-virgin) manhood and/or sperm

EXACT WORDS: Dogs

TRANSLATION: Ritual Prostitute, possibly young boy

THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF DOGS

OLD TESTAMENT: Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God. (Deuteronomy 23:18)

INTERPRETATION: The hire of a whore, or the price of a dog – Many public prostitutes dedicated to their gods a part of their impure earnings; and some of these prostitutes were publicly kept in the temple of Venus Melytta, whose gains were applied to the support of her abominable worship. (Commentary on the Bible, by Adam Clarke, 1831)

II. GOSPEL QUOTE #2: Do not throw your pearls before swine

EXACT WORDS: ‘Your pearls’

TRANSLATION: Your white-colored male semen and/or sperm

EXACT WORDS: ‘before swine

TRANSLATION: To ejaculate staring at pornography

THE BIBLICAL MEANING OF SWINE

OLD TESTAMENT: This term ‘Swine’ usually was a code word for wicked, evil non-Jews. or degenerate, unbelieving Gentiles

INTERPRETATION: The actual pigs and swine who earn their fortune in the XXX (666) pornography industry, the demons which sexually prey on those who masturbate.

It is time to ask those fellow American ‘Yankee Doodle’ males, are you men or are you monkeys? Does anyone truly think it is possible to act like monkeys and also think and advance like men forever? I sincerely doubt it, I really do. It’s time to obey Christ in all ways and to stop masturbation throughout society and, in time, the entire world.

May the LORD God bless you in the name of St. Judas Maccabaeus.

Christianity is art and not money. Money is its curse.

-William Blake (1757-1827) British poet and painter.

The Good News Talmud, Part X. The Town and Country Animosities of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

Every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of Heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.

- Matthew 13:52

Part X. The Town and Country Animosities of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

A Jewish Rabbi and Catholic Priest Study Talmud Together

Because of the Internet, there will someday be a website where every single passage from the Gospels will be cross-referenced with at least two or three corresponding passages from the Talmud. A free information society benefits the Judeo-Christian tradition tremendously. Some Christians remain hesitant because of the old animosities between the Church and Jewish Rabbis and Scholars. This tendency is completely explainable. Many of the Church's best intellectuals, like Rabbi Joshua ben Joseph (Jesus Christ) Himself, were from the countryside, and were not the wealthy and important physicians, advisers, and bankers of Kings and Queens, as quite a few Talmudic Rabbis happened to be at the time. Tomorrow's Christians will understand the continuing tension between Nazareth (country), the hometown of the common man and scholar, and Jerusalem, the cesspool capital of the elite media's hypocrisy, nepotism, and corruption (town).

The debate about the wickedness of the Talmud is over as more Christians finally read and discover the Judeo-Christian goodness clearly written in the very text that has been misquoted and vilified for far too long. The real fight is between the common man and the secular elites who scoff at the Gospels, the Talmud, the Old Testament, and many other religious texts they dismiss as 'out-dated', 'superstitious', and 'mythological'. The Wisdom of the Talmud lives in throughout the country, while the city gleefully mocks Judeo-Christian believers just as Pharaoh and his magicians, Caesar and his Senatorial elite, and Greco-Roman Philosophers did so long ago. In the end, the Talmud will end up as a major study tool of the 21st Judeo-Christian scholars of tomorrow.

TALMUD: He who refuses to accept an apology from one who has offended him is wicked. (Numb. Rabba 19.
GOSPEL: If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them. (Luke 17:3-4)

TALMUD: If you have not acquired knowledge, what can you claim to be possessed of? If you have knowledge, what do you lack?(Numbers Rabba 19)
GOSPEL: After three days they found Him (Jesus) in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were amazed at His understanding and His answers. When they saw Him, they were astonished...And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued in subjection to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. (Luke 2:46-52)

TALMUD: Let not the nations of the earth say that God has favoured Israel and neglected them, for whatever benefit He bestowed on Israel was given also to other nations. (Numbers Rabba 20)
GOSPEL: These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ (Matthew 10:5-7)

TALMUD: In man's intellect there seem to be four degrees, and thus we find him losing his wits by four several degrees when indulging in strong drink. When a man drinks one-fourth more than is good for him, he loses one-fourth of his intellect; when he indulges in as much again, half of his faculties are for the time paralysed; after the third cup over and above what is good for him, he begins to speak incoherently, indeed he knows not what he says; and when he has indulged in the full four parts he is intellectually wrecked. (Numbers Rabba 10)
GOSPEL: Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. (Luke 21:34)

TALMUD: Rabbis Gamaliel, Joshua, Eleazar b. Azaria and Akiba were preachers in Rome. (Exodus Rabba 30)
GOSPEL: On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them. And the Gospel must first be preached to all nations. (Mark 13:9-10)

The Talmud is not anti-Christian, but is filled with Rabbis who disagree

TALMUD: Of the many that go to sea most return, only a small percentage are lost. Also of those who plunge into the sea of matrimony most are happy, and only a small number are misalliances. (Numbers Rabba 9)
GOSPEL: Jesus answered, 'Moses allowed you to divorce your wives because you refused to accept God's teaching, but divorce was not allowed in the beginning.' (Matthew 19:7-9)

TALMUD: If any one tells you that there is no such thing as resurrection, refer him to what one of God's servants (Elijah) did (1 Kings 17) (Numbers Rabba 14)
GOSPEL: Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. (John 5:24-25)

TALMUD: If any one tells you that there is no such thing as resurrection, refer him to what one of God's servants (Elijah) did (1 Kings 17) (Numbers Rabba 14)
GOSPEL: That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question....Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead-have you not read what God said to you, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching. (Matthew 22:23-33)

GOSPEL: I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
(Matthew 5:28)

TALMUD: If you have not acquired knowledge, what can you claim to be possessed of? If you have knowledge, what do you lack?(Numbers Rabba 19)
GOSPEL: Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering. (Luke 11:52)

TALMUD: The truth of the Torah is a weapon to its possessor. (Numbers Rabba 12)
GOSPEL: All who stand before others and say they do not believe in me, I will say before my Father in Heaven that they do not belong to me. Don't think that I came to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. (Matthew 10:33-34)

An Illuminated Page of the Talmud

TALMUD: He who refuses to accept an apology from one who has offended him is wicked. (Numb. Rabba 19.

The Eye for an Eye, Part III. As Above, so Below in the Judeo-Christian Tradition

You are to take a life for a life,
an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot, a burn for a burn, a wound for a wound, a bruise for a bruise.

- Exodus 21:23-25

Part III. As Above, so Below in the Judeo-Christian Tradition

Here are just a few examples of what it actually means when it comes to seeing eye to eye about Judeo-Christian metaphor and meaning:

Abel, the lamb slain since the foundation of the world.

Solomon was in a different category, because he ruled over the denizens of the upper world as well as of the lower. (Babylonian Talmud, Mo’ed IV, Megillah 11b)

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. (Psalm 118:22)

So the LORD put a mark on Cain, lest anyone should kill him at sight. (Genesis 4:15)

The princes of Zoan have acted foolishly, the princes of Memphis are deluded. Those who are the cornerstone of her tribes have led Egypt astray.(Isaiah 19:13)

It forced all the people…to be given a mark on their right hand or their forehead, so that no one could buy or sell except one who had the mark of the beast. (Revelation 13:16-17)

The LORD says: ‘See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.’ (Isaiah 28:16)

Solomon was in a different category, because he ruled over the denizens of the upper world as well as of the lower.(Babylonian Talmud, Mo’ed IV, Megillah 11b)

‘No rock will be taken from you for a cornerstone, nor any stone for a foundation, for you will be desolate forever,’ declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 51:26)

The gold that Solomon received every year weighed 666 gold talents. (I Kings 10:14)

Then I saw another angel…holding the seal of the living God. He cried out in a loud voice to the four angels…‘Do not damage the land or the sea or the trees until we put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’ I heard the number of those who had been marked with the seal, one hundred and forty-four thousand marked from every tribe of the Israelites. (Revelation 7:2-4)

This calls for wisdom: let anyone with understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666. (Revelation 13:18)

Legend states that Christ was crucified with three 9 inch metal nails.

The calm, deceitful eye of Cain who was ‘a murderer from the beginning [and] when he tells a lie, he speaks in character, because he is a liar and the father of all lies.’ (John 8:44)

Number 9, Number 9, Number 9. (Revolution, by the Beatles, the White Album)

God will wipe away tears from off all faces. This means from the faces of non-Jews as well as Jews. (Babylonian Talmud, Genesis Rabba 26)

Medical science tells us that, for whatever reason, our eyes actually see everything upside down. The brain is then required to reverse the images it receives, thus resulting in normal visual perception .

If all your life is given up to the pursuit of earthly things, it is quite consistent for you to look downwards; but if you pursue the higher life, look upwards. (Talmud, Midrash Psalms 32)

‘Your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground.’ (Genesis 4:11)

The Good News Talmud, Part VIII. Christian Animosity of the Talmud

Every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of Heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.

- Matthew 13:52

Part VIII. Christian Animosity of the Talmud

Why was the Talmud burned? Because sometimes self-opportunists will use hatred and violence to advance further in their careers, whether they are a Priest or a Prince, a Bishop or a King. The fact remains that the sexual morality expressed throughout the Talmud makes even the most puritanical Christian doctrines look tame. In short, the Jews, both then and now, are a sexually modest and normal group of people who have, indeed, seen it all throughout the centuries, but have not approved of very much of what they have seen. Judgmental? No. Understanding? Maybe? Natural and tolerant? Most probably. Indeed, it was completely against the laws of the Talmud to have sexual intercourse unless the act was done in total darkness. Lights off, Judeo-Christian children, it is time to return to the Talmud's sexual modesty once again.

TALMUD: Where wine goes in, intellect comes out, as well as secrets. (Numbers Rabba 10)
GOSPEL: When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve. And while they were eating, he said, 'Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.' They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, “Surely you don’t mean me, Lord?” Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me.'...Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?' Jesus answered, 'You have said so.' (Matthew 26:20-25)

TALMUD: Israel will have her kingdom restored to her. (Numbers Rabba 10)
GOSPEL: The Jews then responded to him, 'What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?' Jesus answered them, 'Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.' They replied, 'It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” (John 2:18-20)

TALMUD: Most of the many misdeeds which man is liable to commit he can to some extent redeem--such as theft, fraud, but adultery never. The man who seduces another man's wife is beyond redemption. (Numbers Rabba 9)
GOSPEL: I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Matthew 5:32)

TALMUD: He that sanctifies himself here will receive sanctification from on high. (Numbers Rabba 10)
GOSPEL: He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the Earth is from the Earth and speaks of the Earth He who comes from Heaven is above all. What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies. (John 3:30-32)

TALMUD: 'I have made thee a god to Pharaoh,' said the LORD to Moses: a god to Pharaoh, but not a god.--Numb. Rabba 14.
GOSPEL: The Jews answered Him, saying, 'For a good work we will not stone you, but for blasphemy and because thou, being a man, makes thyself God.' Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law, I said 'You are gods'? If He called them gods unto whom the Word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)." (John 10:33-35)

TALMUD: 'No man shall see me and live,' said God (Exodus 33). Not in this earthly life, but in the higher life. (Numbers Rabba 14)
GOSPEL: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)

TALMUD: God, notwithstanding the various injunctions concerning light (Exodus 27, Leviticus 24, and Numbers 15), requires no light from man. There is no darkness with Him (Psalm 139 and Daniel 2). (Numbers Rabba 15)
GOSPEL: Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, 'I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.' (John 8:12)

TALMUD: Man's eyes have white and black in them; but the power of sight, the lens supplying light, is the black. (Numbers Rabba 15)
GOSPEL: The eye is a light for the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. And if the only light you have is really darkness, then you have the worst darkness. (Matthew 6:21-23)
